• How are coaches assigned and can a student request a change if his or her interests change?

Answer: After admission to the program, students are assigned an academic coach based on interests and programmatic considerations. Students with research assistantships will be assigned similarly. Students may change academic coach and may work with a dissertation chair who is different from their academic coach.
