TeachCS Scholarship Application

Thanks to funding from the Teach CS Grant Program, Cleveland State University is able to offer full scholarships to in-service teachers pursuing computer science education licensure. This opportunity is made possible by House Bill 33, passed by the 135th Ohio General Assembly, which dedicated $8 million over two fiscal years to expand K-12 computer science instruction across the state.

The primary goal of the Teach CS grant is to increase the number of licensed computer science teachers in Ohio. Through this funding, eligible educators can receive full support for tuition, course materials, and exam costs while completing CSU’s state-approved Computer Science Education Endorsement Program or other approved licensure pathways.

In addition to funding licensure programs, the Teach CS grant also supports ongoing professional development for current teachers looking to expand their skills and knowledge in computer science education.
