Levin Impact Award

The Levin Impact Award recognizes alumni who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement, leadership, and service while creating meaningful and lasting change in place, policy, or practice within their professions, communities, or society.

Recipients embody the spirit of the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education through their commitment to improving the lives of others. The award recognizes graduates whose accomplishments reflect the college’s aspiration to prepare changemakers who turn ideas into action and contribute to the public good.

The nomination period is August 14 through September 18, 2026.

Eligibility

Nominees must:

  • Have completed a degree from the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education or one of its predecessor units at least 10 years before the nomination deadline.
  • Have demonstrated distinguished achievement and leadership in their profession, field, or community.
  • Have made a significant impact at the regional, state, national, or international level.
  • Be recognized as a person of integrity and be in good standing within their profession and community.
  • Demonstrate a sustained commitment to service, innovation, collaboration, or community advancement that reflects the mission and vision of Levin College.

Before You Begin

Before completing the nomination form, please have the following information and materials available:

  • The nominee’s full contact information, including mailing address, email address, and telephone number
  • The nominee’s current title and employer or organization
  • The nominee’s degree, academic program, and graduation year
  • The nominator’s contact information and relationship to the nominee
  • A letter of support of no more than 1,000 words
  • The nominee’s current résumé or curriculum vitae
  • Confirmation that the nominee has agreed to be nominated

The form must be submitted by September 18, 2026. Late or incomplete nominations may not be considered.

Selection and Notification

Eligible nominations will be reviewed based on the criteria for the Levin Impact Award. Final selections will be approved by the Levin 50th Anniversary Committee.

All nominees will be notified after the selection process is complete. Submission of a nomination does not guarantee selection. The college may contact the nominator or nominee if additional information is needed.
