Program Overview 

The Ed.M. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Educational Research and Assessment equips graduates with skills to read and conduct research in the field of education as well as evaluating educational programs. Particularly in this era of accountability, the program provides students with both qualitative and quantitative skills necessary for data-driven decision making. The Master’s can be completed as a fully online program and can also be completed in conjunction with a Graduate Certificate in either Data-Based Decision Making or in Program Evaluation in Educational and Youth-Serving Organizations. The Master's program is ideal for teachers and administrators who want to increase their ability to interpret classroom and schoolwide data, as well as for those who intend to pursue doctoral work or research positions in education.

This Master's program is 30 credits, and can potentially be completed in one calendar year with full time enrollment in fall, spring, and summer semesters, or can be completed at your own pace with either full- or part-time enrollment.
