ESE 351/371/520/522: Grades K-12

When: Tuesdays from 5:15-6 PM, 2/6/24-4/30/24
This class serves learners with both mild and moderate/intense disabilitiesonly (e.g. autism, intellectual disability, multiple disabilities) in grades K-12 by pairing with tutors in reading, writing and math. This course will meet in person on Tuesdays for 45 minutes. Tutors and tutees will work on assessments and activities essential for learning course objectives and, when possible, student school work. Please note the starting date of 2/6/24 and ending date of 4/30/24. Please plan to attend every session and notify the center in advance of absence.
EDL 503: Grades K-8 - ENROLLMENT NOW CLOSED/COURSE FULL

When: Wednesdays from 5:00-6 PM, 2/21/24-4/17/24
EDL 504 serves learners in grades K-8 by pairing with tutors in literacy. This course will meet in-person on Wednesday from 5 to 6PM. Tutors and tutees will work on identifying literacy strengths and challenges by administering literacy assessments. Please note the starting date of February 21, 2024 and ending date of April 17, 2024. Please plan to attend every session and notify the center in advance of an absence.

When: Mondays 5:30-6:30 PM, 2/26/2024-4/22/2024 (note revised start date)
EDL 311/511 serves learners in grades K-5 by pairing with tutors in literacy. This remote course will meet via Zoom on Mondays from 5:30-6:30 pm. Tutors and tutees will work on all aspects of literacy: phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and writing. Please note the starting date of 2/12/2024 and the end date of 4/22/2024 (11 sessions total). Please plan to attend every session and notify the Center in advance of absence.
