Our MUST program has become a finalist for the 2012 Award for the Distinguished Program in Teacher Education.
This award is sponsored by the Association of Teacher Educators.
Cleveland State University's award-winning MUST Program is the Master of Urban Secondary Teaching Program,
a nationally recognized 14-month intensive graduate program. This unique program focuses on urban teaching and social justice, culminating in a Master of Education degree and grade 7-12 Ohio teacher licensure in math, science, social studies, English/language arts, foreign language or art.
As a MUST Intern, you'll participate in this unique Master of Education program as part of a cohort of fellow graduate students/interns dedicated to becoming great teachers in urban schools. Listen to what our current MUST Interns have to say about our program:

Gina L., 2011-12:
"MUST is the most amazing, life changing experience I have ever had. The unique experience is what makes it so exciting. The professors and other MUST Interns are people I will never forget. Not only have I obtained knowledge that will help me along the way in my teaching career, but I have also obtained some of the best friends of my life. My other MUST Cohort members are like family to me. I would not change my experience for anything in the world!"
