Dr. Brian A. Mikelbank, Associate Professor at the Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs, has been appointed as an Associate Editor of the academic journal, Papers in Applied Geography, published by Taylor & Francis, Inc. In this capacity, Dr. Mikelbank will handle the reviewing processes of submitted manuscripts in the areas of urban geography and related application fields. He will also make recommendations for reviewed manuscripts regarding acceptance, revisions, and rejections to the Editor-in-Chief. 

Papers in Applied Geography is the official journal of the Applied Geography Conferences. It encourages high quality scholarship on a broad range of topics in the field of geography, including but not limited to applied climatology, economic geography, geographical information science, geography of health, geospatial analysis, policy and planning, and urban geography.
