DR. MeganE. Hatch To Serve On Housing Policy Debate Editorial Advisory Board

Published on

Dr. Megan E. Hatch, Associate Professor at the Levin College, has accepted a position on the Editorial Advisory Board for Housing Policy Debate. The Journal provides an outlet for original research that evaluates and informs housing and community development policy, with subjects including affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization, housing-related poverty alleviation and integration strategies, and metropolitan development trends.

Dr. Hatch's research on rental housing policies explores the creation and consequences of landlord-tenant laws at the state and local level. At its core, her research examines the policy context within which almost a third of Americans, many of whom have low incomes or are people of color, must operate. She situates her research on less explored areas aimed at renters and their relationship with landlords. Most recently she has been focusing her work on state and local rental housing policies, including landlord-tenant laws and community development block grant funding.
