Dr. Valencia Prentice Named Lincoln Institute Scholar

Dr. Valencia Prentice, Assistant Professor of Urban Studies for the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education has been selected by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy as a 2023 Lincoln Institute Scholars Program participant. The prestigious scholarship program is designed to support scholars, early in their careers, who specialize in public finance or urban economics, and whose research is relevant to the Institute's goal of "Efficient and Equitable Tax Systems.” 

As a Lincoln Institute Scholar, Dr. Prentice has been invited to Cambridge to meet with and receive mentorship from leading senior academics. During the visit, she will present her recent research, which focuses on the role of local government expenditures in redistributing property wealth.
