Forbes Health, a trusted destination for wellness insights, news, and reviews, has recently welcomed Cleveland State University's Dr. Stacey Diane Arañez Litam as a 2022 Forbes Health Advisory Board Member. Dr. Litam has joined a panel of board-certified, experienced professionals, clinicians, and practitioners who review articles, advise on content, and support Forbes Health’s mission to help consumers make smarter, simpler, and less stressful wellness decisions.
Dr. Litam is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education in the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education Department of Counseling, Administration, Supervision, and Adult Learning. A Chinese and Filipino American woman, Dr. Litam is an award-winning instructor, practitioner, social justice advocate, and scholar, with a multitude of publications in a wide array of top journals in her discipline. Her internationally recognized research and practice serve survivors of sex trafficking and sexual trauma, as well as the LGBTQ+ community. Dr. Litam is also renowned for her outstanding work on COVID-19’s impact on the mental health of Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), as well as the influence the pandemic has had on sex and relationships.
