Levin Alumnus Nick Camino Named “Best Sports Anchor” by Cleveland Magazine
Levin College proudly congratulates Nick Camino, a graduate of the School of Communication at Cleveland State University, on being named Best Sports Anchor by Cleveland Magazine.
Nick’s path to this recognition started right here at CSU. As a student, he poured his energy into campus media, serving as editor of The Cauldron and sports editor of The Cleveland Stater. He graduated with honors in journalism, building a strong foundation that helped launch a career covering the teams and stories Clevelanders care about most.
From his early days at WTAM, where he hosted pre- and post-game shows and The Nick Camino Show, to his current role at WKYC, Nick has always brought knowledge, passion, and heart to his work. Today, viewers can catch him anchoring sports on multiple newscasts and hosting Sports Tonight on Sundays. Fans across Northeast Ohio know him for his thoughtful coverage of the Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers, and for the way he helps Clevelanders feel more connected to the teams they love.
Nick also remains closely connected to Levin College. He is always willing to lend a hand when asked and is committed to supporting the next generation of journalists who are training in the School of Communication.
This recognition from Cleveland Magazine is a well-earned honor that celebrates Nick’s talent, hard work, and dedication to his hometown. Levin College and the School of Communication are proud to cheer him on and look forward to seeing what he’ll do next, both on and off the air.
