Join us for the Norman Krumholz Speaker Series on the Future of Urban Planning on Wednesday, March 25, at the Roberta Steinbacher Atrium in the Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs. The program will run from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a networking social from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Attendance is free, with a suggested donation to the Norman and Virginia Krumholz Endowed Scholarship.

The 2026 series marks the 100th anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court case Village of Euclid v. Ambler Realty Co., which established the foundation for modern zoning in the United States.

Following the keynote presentation by Dr. Sonia Hirt, Dean and Hughes Professor in Landscape Architecture and Planning in the College of Environment and Design at the University of Georgia, a panel of local planning and development professionals will examine zoning and housing policy. The series honors the legacy of Norman Krumholz and his influence on planning practice in Cleveland, including his work developing a planning framework for the Cleveland City Planning Department.
