Urban Studies Graduate Student Runs 1,300 Miles of Cleveland's Streets
Urban Studies graduate student Phil Kidd is running 1,300 miles of Cleveland's streets to aid his work in making them safer and more accessible.
Phil Kidd, a Master of Science in Urban Studies student at Levin College and Cleveland city planner, is running every street in the city—totaling 1,300 miles—to gain a detailed understanding of its physical condition. His understanding of the city's streets aids his work in the Mayor’s Office of Capital Projects, particularly in making them safer, more accessible, and in adding green infrastructure.
