Kat Hollo

Assistant Director, Center for Public and Nonprofit Management

Kat graduated from Levin College in 2018 with a degree in Urban Studies. During her academic pursuits, she undertook an internship under the guidance of Rob Ziol, the director of The Center. Subsequently, she rejoined The Center on a part-time basis in 2022, assumed the role of Program Coordinator in 2023, and was later promoted to Assistant Director in 2024. In her current position, Kat oversees a diverse range of programs, encompassing professional development initiatives, mentorship programs, internships, and applied research. Her passion for networking and cultivating partnerships with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, allows her to discover valuable experiential learning prospects and expansion possibilities for the Levin College community.

Before joining the University, Kat accumulated over 25 years of experience in customer service, sales, and marketing in the hospitality and wellness sectors. By blending her customer service background with a passion for public administration, she plays a pivotal role in advancing the College's overarching mission.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Kat is a dedicated mother and an experienced yoga instructor with over a decade of teaching experience and two decades of personal practice. Drawing from her extensive background, she infuses her programs at The Center with leadership, inspiration, and a commitment to fostering connections among individuals, aiming to contribute to the betterment of Cleveland, the region, and beyond. Kat enjoys spending her free time outdoors, engaging in activities like hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and exploring the beauty of nature whenever she can.
