Levin School Homecoming Brings Together Alumni, Students, and Faculty

Published on

Cleveland, OH – The Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs hosted its annual Homecoming Party on November 21, 2024, in the Roberta Steinbacher Atrium, bringing together alumni, students, faculty, and retired faculty for an evening of connection and reflection.

The evening began with a welcome from faculty, followed by remarks from students who shared their enthusiasm for public service and the value of networking with experienced alumni. Despite the snowy weather, the event was well attended and provided an opportunity for attendees to reconnect with familiar faces and form new connections.

Reflecting on the evening, Dr. Clayton Wukich, Interim Chair of the Levin School, noted, "The Homecoming Party demonstrated the depth of our community’s commitment to urban affairs. It was inspiring to witness the exchange of ideas between alumni and students, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that defines the Levin School."

The event also welcomed back retired faculty members, including Bill Bowen, Dennis Keating, Sy Murray, Mike Spicer, and Roberta Steinbacher, who were recognized for their lasting contributions to the school and its students.

For those unable to attend, there are many opportunities to remain connected with the Levin School. Alumni can participate in mentorship programs, provide student internship placements, or host field visits to their organizations.
