The Master of Education in Health Professions Education (MEHPE) degree program is a collaboration between Cleveland State University and Cleveland Clinic, a top ranked hospital. The mission of the MEHPE program is to prepare healthcare professional for excellence in diverse educational roles. MEHPE students develop and/or enhance their skills in the following areas:

  • Adult learning
  • Curriculum design and instruction
  • Learner assessment
  • Program evaluation
  • Educational scholarship

The MEHPE program is designed for health professionals who have current roles and responsibilities in education.  Having an education role enables MEHPE students to apply what they learn to their ongoing professional activities. To best accommodate working professionals, live (virtual) classes are conveniently held once a week in the evenings.
