Interning for Laura’s Home Women’s Crisis Center taught me so many skills that will help in my future endeavors. I assisted women in the resource center, helping them find housing and employment, raising their credit score, etc. I also had the opportunity to do a lot on my own which I think is uncommon in most intern situations.
