SPRING 2025 Course Descriptions 

In-person courses: 

ESE 351/371/520/522: Grades K-12 

Instructor: Dr. Amanda Yurick

When: Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:15 PM, 2/4/24 - 5/6/24

This class serves learners with both mild and moderate/intense disabilitiesonly (e.g. autism, intellectual disability, multiple disabilities) in grades K-12 by pairing with tutors in reading, writing and math. This course will meet in person on Tuesdays for 45 minutes. Tutors and tutees will work on assessments and activities essential for learning course objectives and, when possible, student school work. Please note the starting date of 2/4/25 and ending date of 4/29/25. Please plan to attend every session and notify the center in advance of absence.

REMOTE COURSES:

ESE 351/371/520/522: Grades K-12

When: Tuesdays from 7 PM - 7:45 2/4/2025 - 5/6/2025

The class serves learners with both mild and moderate/intense disabilities only (e.g. autism, intellectual disability, multiple disabilities) in grades K-12 by pairing with tutors in reading, writing and math. This course will meet remotely on Zoom on Tuesdays for 45 minutes. Tutors and tutees will work on assessments and activities essential for learning course objectives and, when possible, student school work. Please note the starting date of 2/4/25 and ending date of 5/6/25. Please plan to attend every session and notify the center in advance of absence.
