Position: Water Quality Planning Intern

Position: GIS Paraprofessional Intern

The intern will assist with various projects throughout the assignment, including, but not limited to:
 
1. Stormwater Billing Support
  • Analyze and update impervious area (IA) dataset to support the Regional Stormwater Management Program and other activities Perform data analysis, OA-QC and updates in accordance with billing procedures/guidelines. Performs data research to support QA-QC task including County Parcel Auditor sites and Billing Agent systems. Develop products (maps, data and reports) to document progress on QAIQC tasks.

2. Community Discharge Permit Program Support

  • Intake notifications from SagesGov then review plan submittals for completeness, file information, upload to GIS, and assign the review to the correct reviewers.

3. GIS Administration Support

  • Create and update web maps, applications, scripts, and datasets to support District data collection and maintenance needs.
  • Follow procedures to archive completed project datasets from ArcGIS Online and document as needed.
  • Provide metadata creation and updates as requested.

Position: Zoning Division - GIS Intern

Duties primarily include supporting the work of the Department of Planning and Development largely through the Department Director and Zoning Commissioner.
 
Specifically, goals within the Zoning Division include:
  • Expanding the use of data analytics and GIS to promote development in the City in accordance with the Master Plan and Zoning Code and to assist stakeholders, citizen’s groups, and government officials in mapping City assets and opportunities for community-driven planning efforts;
  • Working closely with other departmental and City staff to coordinate, strategize, and achieve development goals as outlined by the “Euclid Master Plan;”

Position: Silverlode and Data Analytics Intern

The Silverlode and Data Analytics Intern will support two GBX teams with a variety of consulting and data-driven projects. For consulting projects, the intern will work with all Silverlode consultants on external client projects which may include tax credits and incentives consulting, economic impact analysis, site selection consulting, and economic development consulting. For data projects, the intern will work with the Business Intelligence and Valuations groups to gather market data and assist with internal dashboarding and analytics.

Position: GIS and AIr Quality Intern

The GIS and Air Quality Intern contributes to neighborhood quality of life by collecting and maintaining the data collected through our Let's Clear the Air Initiative (LCTAI). Intern will be responsible for working with LCTA Committee of Champion members on collecting data from soil and air quality monitors at Lakeview Estates. Intern will need to be proficient in Esri ArcGIS in order to visualize the data collected and import it into Esri. Additionally, you will work with the Neighborhood Planning Manager and Community Engagement Manager to focus on strategies around environmental and racial justice.
