Scholarships and Graduate Assistantships

The scholarships and graduate assistantship listed below are for students entering or continuing their studies in the Diversity Leadership and Change Management Program. We encourage students to fill out a scholarship application form based on the scholarship criteria below. Scholarship applications will be received on a rolling basis as long as funds are available.

Diversity Institute Scholarships

Inclusion Scholarships (3) - $2500 each
Recipients must be in good academic standing. Student must demonstrate experience living in or working with and advocating for diverse, historically marginalized and underserved populations.

Equity Scholarships (3) - $2500 each
Recipients must be in good academic standing and have a documented disability, including both visible and non-visible.

Ally Scholarships (3) - $2500 each
Recipients must be in good academic standing, and must demonstrate experience or commitment to working with and advocating for an historically underserved population(s) of which they are not a part. 

Unity Scholarships (3) - $2500 ea.
Recipients must be in good academic standing, and have demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with LGBTQ+ organizations or promoting the needs of LGBTQ+ individuals.

Access Scholarships (2) - $2500 ea.
Recipients must be in good academic standing, and be a military veteran, including being active-duty or in reserves.

Change Agent Scholarship (1) - $2500 ea.
Recipient must be in good academic standing, and be able to demonstrate or aspire to affect change relative to diversity, equity, and inclusion and racial or social justice at the organizational or community level.

New Legacy Scholarship (1) - $2500 each
Recipient must be in good academic standing, and have demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with First-Generation student organizations or promoting the needs of First-Generation students.

Graduate Assistantships
If you are interested in a Graduate Assistantship and you are, or are applying to be a DLCM student, please fill out the Urban Affairs GA application and select the DLCM Specialization. Once you have completed the application, please send a letter of interest to Dr. Ronnie Dunn that includes your experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion research, and why you would like to hold the Graduate Assistantship. The graduate research assistantship covers tuition (9 credit hours/semester) and stipend.
