Meet Molly Mantei

Molly serves as a tutor in the OCE Viking Corp program at the Cleveland Public Library. Molly is a Pre-Education major with a focus on English and Social Studies at CSU. 

Why did you choose to attend CSU?
I chose to attend CSU because of the urban location and because I am able pursue the education degree that I am passionate about. 

What made you want to work as a CPL Viking Corps tutor? What do you think you will gain from being a tutor?
It's a great opportunity to start working with kids before I get into my career field. I will gain different strategies on how to teach students. I know it is very important to have various teaching strategies as a teacher. I feel like this program is preparing me for what I will experience in the future. 

Why should other students get involved with Viking Corps while they are attending CSU?
I think that students should get involved with these programs because they can give you work experience that you can learn from and incorporate into your career after graduating.
