Mild/Moderate Educational Needs (M.Ed.)

MildToModerate

Empowering Learners. Transforming Classrooms.

At Cleveland State University, our Mild/Moderate Educational Needs graduate program prepares future educators to support and empower K–12 students with a wide range of academic and social learning needs. This clinically intensive, licensure-focused pathway leads to a Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Ohio licensure as a Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist.

Through dynamic coursework, hands-on field experience, and strong community partnerships, including CSU’s on-campus schools and Community Learning Center, students are equipped to lead inclusive, student-centered classrooms that improve educational outcomes across the region.
