Scholarships, Assistantships and Financial Aid for Communication Majors

  • Christopher Bundschuh Endowed Scholarship 
     
  • Cleveland Jewish News-Max Axelrod Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to a junior, senior, or graduate student majoring in Communication. Applicants must be enrolled in the School of Communication, with preference given to those with an emphasis in Journalism.
     
  • Donald H. Marcus Scholarship Fund
    Annual award for JPR majors, with preference for those concentrating in Public Relations. 
     
  • Eaton Foundation Inc., Endowed Scholarship Fund
     
  • Jana Stone Endowed Scholarship
    Applicants must be JPR majors with a 2024–2025 FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need. Preference will be given to students with a concentration in Public Relations.
     
  • Queenie Bray Memorial Scholarship In Communication
    Applicants must be U.S. citizens, JPR majors, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, and have a 2024–2025 FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need. Preference is given to graduates of Shaw High School or Cleveland Municipal School District high school. 
     
  • Raymond Dorsey Journalism Endowed Scholarship
    Non-discriminatory basis to a physically disabled student. Applicants must be JPR majors with a 2024–2025 FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need. Preference is given to those with a concentration in Journalism. 
     
  • W.O. And Naomi E. Walker Memorial Fund
    Annual awards will be given to students majoring in Communication who demonstrate financial need. Applicants must have a 2024–2025 FAFSA on file and be enrolled in the School of Communication.
