Responsible for acting as team lead to deliver assigned aspects of the District's Geographic Information System (GIS) applications, including intranet, mobile and internet-based applications. Identifies and gathers requirements for new GIS applications and maps. Represents District GIS team in meetings with internal and external partners. Acts as liaison with District IT department to ensure 24-hour accessibility to GIS applications. Performs other duties of a similar nature as may be required.

- Work with Northeast Ohio organizations to increase the capacity of the health delivery system to effectively engage in Medicaid Policy

- Supporting GCARP’s steering committee including administrative tasks; managing logistics for quarterly public meetings

Successful candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning, Geography, Architecture/Landscape Architecture, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field. Salaries range from $45,688.11-$62,818.43 depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits package. 37.5-hour workweek, 13 paid holidays.

The Natural Resources Specialist 2 is a mid-level, experienced field worker seasonal position that assists Natural Resources Division staff in day-to-day or project related management, i.e., maintenance and restoration, or research and monitoring of the natural resources in Cleveland Metroparks and northeastern Ohio.
Works in the Watershed Management program to assist with hydrologic and water chemistry monitoring as part of district-wide aquatic ecosystem assessments and resource management. Reports to Stream Restoration Ecologist at West Creek Reservation. Works at reservations across the Cleveland Metroparks District.
