​​​​​​​Raven is a tutor at Davis Aerospace and Maritime High School in the OCE Viking Corps program. She is a sophomore Studio Arts major here at Cleveland State University.

“I wanted to tutor during the pandemic because I do enjoy helping others. Even though my focus in college is art, this job will give me experience in something outside of that field. In this job, I will be able to work with people and further develop my communication skills. I am in the Sullivan-Deckard Scholars Program because I come from the foster care system. Another program I am a part of that is not affiliated with CSU, is OHIO YAB. Ohio YAB works to make changes to the Ohio foster care system and allows children in the system to have a voice. My career goal after college, is to start a business for my art with the skills I learn. The biggest experience I hope to gain, is to focus on being able to work with different types of people.”
